With me! The advantage of being a graphic designer and illustrator is that everything is in one hand for a branding or illustration project, but if the project scope or deadline requires it, I can bring in specialists from my network.
I specialise in a variety of illustration fields, including websites, books, packaging, patterns, editorials, icons and murals, as well as branding projects. If you want to give your product or service a unique, high-quality look, I can help.
Definitely not, as it's not really my style. I only accept projects that align with my values and working approach. If you like the look of my portfolio, we're probably a good match!
Every process begins with a not boring strategy session, during which I work closely with you to gain an in-depth understanding of your needs. So at the exploration stage, I can find the best ways to tell your story by providing various concepts. From sketches to final visuals, regular check-ins and optional modification rounds are always included to ensure we stay on the right path. However, as each project is different, if you have an exciting project in mind, please get in touch to discuss it!
The first step is always discovery call - so I can understand your needs and learn about your creative challanges you want to be solved. You don’t need anything prepared at this point, although an idea of your budget and timeline are useful.
I am usually fully booked two months in advance, but things can change, so please get in touch as it's always worth enquiring about my availability.
Projects typically start from £3,000, with a fixed fee rather than an hourly or daily rate. I always take the time to understand your needs and provide a clear, fixed quote alongside the best possible timescale for completion. However, prices for illustration and branding projects are calculated differently. Although branding projects are always more complex, design tasks can be calculated on an hourly or daily basis, whereas illustration projects are mostly licensing-based and can be smaller in scale. I usually set a clear fixed fee rather than charging by the hour or day, but for some graphic design tasks, if the project requires it, my hourly rate is £45 and my daily rate is £350.
Most illustrations are based on licensing. For a general introduction to licensing, please see this document produced by the Association of Illustrators. This provides a helpful introduction to commissioning illustrations.
Yes, I ask for a 50% deposit in advance to secure your place in my schedule. We can then arrange how the remainder is paid, whether that be in weekly, monthly or staged instalments. All fees must be paid in full before the delivery of the final designs at the end of the project.
Yes, I am available for any necessary corrections, adjustments or troubleshooting, as well as for answering any questions about the deliverables.
